How We Rank

Our Device Scoring Methodology

Buying a med spa device is a major investment. Our device profiles organize the factors practice owners commonly evaluate so technologies can be compared on more than marketing claims alone.

Best Med Spa Devices scores are the editorial team's structured application of the weighted criteria below to publicly available manufacturer information, category research, and operational considerations commonly reported by practice owners. Scores are a research and comparison aid, not a clinical endorsement, and are refined on an ongoing basis as manufacturer-verified data is confirmed. We describe this as a research methodology rather than hands-on device testing, because we have not conducted independent clinical testing of these devices.

  • Regulatory status where applicable — confirmed directly with manufacturers rather than assumed.
  • Manufacturer support — training, onboarding, and ongoing support the manufacturer provides.
  • Warranty / service considerations — coverage terms and serviceability over the device's useful life.

What Our Methodology Is — and Isn't

We describe this as a research methodology, not hands-on device testing — we have not conducted independent clinical trials or side-by-side lab testing of these devices. Our scores are a structured, disclosed application of the criteria above to publicly available information, refined over time as manufacturer-verified data is confirmed. Any specification on a device page marked "Verification Pending" is a placeholder awaiting confirmation and should not be treated as fact.

Where Best Med Spa Devices has a commercial or referral relationship with a manufacturer, that relationship is disclosed on the relevant device page and in our Disclosures. It does not alter the weights or scores applied here.
